FAREWELL TO LORD SELBORNE.
United Press Association—By ElectricTelegraph—Copyright. (Received May 20th. 12.43 a.m.) CAPETOWN, May 19. Viscount Gladstone, with the Premiers of Cape Colony, Natal, Orange River Colony, tho Transvaal, and many politicians and citizens, participated in a striking farewell to Lord Selborne on board tho Armadalo Castle at Capetown. Tho newspapers pay a tribute to the retiring Governor-Gene-ral's unfailing impartiality, and declare that he has striven to obliterate the racial prejudices and divisions.
