In tiie Duco case to-day—an action hiouuht by the Wellington Harbour j Ferries Company against the Royal j KM*liang* Insurance' Company for : .C'-Vy'J pay-able under a policy of insur* i anco. of that ve.'/sel—the jury found as., follows:—''That in their opinion the'j defendants had not shown conclusively i that the Duco wa.s unseawortliy when | si io left Wellington.'' . | His Honour said that he would; therefore* linve to rule, a verdict for i ho plaintiff cempanv. It was subsquently agreed that tho amount of tlie verdict, with costs, etc., should be determined by thc Judge.
