RIFLE SHOOTING.
. -_ -a _ AMBERLEY RIFLE CLUB. The final stages of the championship cup, which was presented by Mr G. B. Starky, juni., were tired last week. The conditions were ton shots at 200, 300, 500, COO and 700 yards. Maintaining an early advantage, Rifleman Frew won the cup for tho year with a fair margin. The following were the highest scorers:—Rifleman S. Frew 207, Rifleman P. Luisetti 190, Vice-Captain McAdam 190.. DIXOX CUP COMPETITION. The following is tho result of tho first shoot for the Dixon Cup, competed for by tho Ellesmere Mounted Rifles. The conditions are:—First shoot, ten 'shots each at 200 and 500 yds; second shoot, ten shots each at 300 and SOOycls; third shoot, len shots at 500 and 600 yds; best two shoots out of three. Hep.
