A NEW REEF ON THE WEST COAST.
(rKXSS AUOCIATTON TELSCRAU.) WESTPORT, April 2G. Mr Fry Director of the Westport School of Mines,'haa secured an option over »_ricn reef in the Poerua district, on the Oar* line. The reef has been triced for a distance of half a mile. It promises, it is etated. to eclipse anything yet discovered on the West Coast. The stone is stated to range as high as 3Joe of fine gold to the ton.
