The following is the Rev\ D. C. Bates s summary and forecast: — The weather has been generally cloudy end wet. The barometer hae continued low in tho southern districts, and fallen steadily. In the north strone westerly and squally northerhes have prsv-led The present indications aro tor hich westerly winds changing to the southward for more unsettled and cloudy weather seneraKy. The barometer will probably fall further in the north, but a- decided rise « expected there after about sixteen hours.
