SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
At the Tai Tapu School Committee's last meeting -. the master reported a daily average" of 81 out of a roll number of 86. The Board's Mr T. S. Foster, visited the school on September 20th, end his report was.read and considered satisfactory. Mr Barrett was appointed to fill a vacancy on the committee. The date of the school concert was fixed for the second week iv November. It was decided to interview several parents who had children of school age, and by securing their attendance to enable the school to attain c higher grade next year.
