MR JOHN FOSTER FRASER.
On Wednesday evening next week,, as the Theatre Royal, Mr John Foster Fraser, tho famous author, journalist, and traveller, will commence a short . series of lectures. The subject of the opening lecture will be "America Up to Date/ drawn principally from his successful took "America at_' _ Work, which has Rone into many editions and been reproduced in numerous Continental languages. This lecture -and the others of the series will be illustrated . with a number of beautiful pictures. Mr Fraser will arrive from Timarn_by the first express next Wednesday. The plan of reserved seats for the .four lectures will open at Messrs Milner and Thompson's on Saturday. The eenea will include besides the> opening one '•Through Russia in Revolution, ,, "Across Siberia and a Cash TJbrongh Manchuria," and 'The Balance, or Power in Europe." Possibly a/matineo will bo given. If so, the subject will , be "Tho Women of Many Lands." Mr .:; Fraser opens in Wellington on Mon* j[ day. the 18th inst.
