W. ffazlitfc is staple director, ar.d a. staff of mechanists travel with the company, so that in spite of the magnitude of the production. & smooth and complete performance to-morrow night may be expected. Booking of reßerved seats sti l; progresses apace, and the Chrietchurch public seems to anticipate a great theatrical treat.- Of the pantomime, the Melbourne "Herald" says:— «We have seen many brilliant pantomime productions, bnt 'Jack and Jill , is a little more brilliant in its kaleidoscopic colouring, a little richer in novelty, a little more entertaining in its evanescent nonsense, than any other ■ pantomime previously staged by Mr J. 0. Williamson. This year's Christmas extravaganza achieved _ immedinte and well-merited popularity. 'Jack and Jill" sparkles with spectacular wealth »nd briKbtee with clever comedy until the audience ie completely infected with admiration and light-hearted laughter. Dainty and bright music, glittering and graceful ballet ensembles, and many side shows adorn the simple old nursery story."
