A musical entertainment will be given in the Oddfellows' Hall, Woolston, to night, in aid of the funds of tho Wooleton Methodist Church. An excellent prograinmo -will bo submitted, and a large attendance is anticipated. Mr Arthur Cant, a successful grower of chrysanthemums, will give a paper on that flower and its cultivation in the Manchester street Hall to-morrow evening A public meeting to support the CV>-><-it.-b!e Aifi prcnnsnl to sell a portion of the Twigger Estate, will -''■•* tho Spreydon School to-mor-row night. A puoiic meeting will be held in St. Mark's iSchoolroom, Opawa, to-morrow night, to consider tramway matters in connfwtion with the district.
