NOTE.
A meeting of tho Springfield Racing Club was held at th© Road Board Office on Saturday. The club have a membership of over 90, and expect to race* in tho spring. The racecourse is to be put in order, and fencing and other work is to be don© at onoe. The officers elected were:—Mr J. Seymour, president: Messrs S. E. Rutherford and H. Knight, vice-presidents. The other officers are to be appointed at next meeting, which will be held on July 10th.
