FATAL FIRES.

(FREBS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) ELTHAM, July 5. Mrs Bill, one of the victims of the burning accident on Saturday, died at 7.30 on Saturday night. The younger girl Bill (four years old) died at three o'clock this. morning. The elder girl, aged eleven years, is in a very serious condition.

The Mayor of Eltham is making an appeal to the public on behalf of Mr Bill, who is rendered penniless by the fire, besides losing his wife and child. BLENHEIM. July 5. The inquest on the bodies of Mrs Joseph Taylor and two children, burned in Friday night's fire, opened yesterday. The evidence failed to snow how the outbreak originated. The inquest was adjourned tul Friday, in the hope that Taylor may be able to appear. At present he has no recollection of anything connected with the fire.
