During a period of 17 days ended January 23rd last, the AVaihi Gold Mining Company crushed ajid treat-cd 22,100 tonu of oi"o for a return of bullion valued at £55,203. In the corresponding period of last year, when there were 21 days crushing, 25,133 tons, yielded ££1,U84.. The decrease on the present occasion is accounted for by the shorter crushing period. In December laat the return from 27,580 tons was £65,133. The total amount won from the mine to date i& £7,208,488.
