KAIAPOI.

The Dominion Day medals were presented to tho Kaiapoi Borough School and High School pupils by tbe Mayoress yesterday afternoon. There was a fair attendance of the public. The ceremony of saluting the flag was gone through, the cadets turning out under Capt. Gates/ and the National Anthem was sung. Mr W. D. Bean (headmaster), the acting chairman of tho School Committee, and Mr J. H. Blackvvell (Mayor) _aye addresses, and tho medals wero distributed to all the pupils present. Cheers were given as the children dispersed.
