President Roosevelt, in reply to Mr Bryan's challenge, declares that Governor Haskell is a disgrace to the nation, and totally unfit for any public position. President Roosevelt cites Mr Haskell's former record as a company promoter in Wall street, and describes him as corrupt, and tho official tool of the Standard Oil Trust.
