MR MILLAR CONDEMNED.

(PEESS ASSOCIATION" XELEGBAM.) DUNEDIN, September 24. ■ At a meeting of the Otago Trades and Labour Cpuncil to-ndght the ioJtowing resolution was carried:—'That in the opinion of this Council the Hon. J. A. Millar has, hy his action in connection with the Arbitration Bill,'forfeited the right to be classed aa a representative of labour, and this Council invites him to proclaim himself what he has proved to bo—a champion of the capitalistic class." A resolution vras passed placing on record tho Council's appreciation of Mr Barclay's services in connection with the Bill. Tho secretary was instructed to ask Mr Arnold if he was -in the House when tho Arbitration Bill was -cinq discussed, and, if so why ho, as a professeu Labour member did not raise his voice in support of Mr Barclay's amendments.
