SECONDARY SCHOOL FOOTBALL.

lO IHE EDITOR OF "THE TRESS."' Sir, —As 1 see in this morning's paper that the date for the annual football match between the Boy's High School and Christ's Colloce is not yet fixed, I would suggest that the governing body should ha v. the match played kon Lancaster Park on a Saturday afternoon. Thero are a great number

of football enthusiasts who cannot see this game (which is always a really good display of scientific football) owing to it being played on a "Wednesday afternoon.

The opinion that this match should take place on Lancaster Park has been very general for some season's past, and I am sure that the Canterbury Rugby Union's nockot would bo tho gainer, as far as the "gate" is concerned. —Yours, etc., A LOVER OF THESE SCHOOLS' FOOTBALL. July 16th.
