Admiral Saih, of Tokio, states that he is willing to make an announcement as to th© disposition of th© fleet, if there is any need for it to allay the great excitement, but the rumour Is hardly worth ctrtention. Mr Roosevelt, in thanking Doctor Grenna. the Brazilian President, for th© hospitality shown to the fleet, states that the American fleet exists only to protect peace against possible aggression, and justice against possible oppression.
