CYCLING.

CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING

The competitions for the Blue Riband events of tho wheel world of this colony will tako place at Lancaster Park next iSaturday afternoon commencing at 2.30, under the auspices of tho League of New Zealand Wheelman. The follouing classic events will be run:—Half, One, Three, and Five Miles Championships of New Zealand. The entries, which closed on Saturday, were of a most representative character. The Two Milce Open Handicap (for which the Exhibition authorities hare given a handsome diamond bracelet valued at 25 soys, the School Boye , Championship, and the One Mile Novice Handicap also filled up exceptionally well, and an interest inu afternoon's eport should be witnessed.
