FIRES.
A fir© broke out about 11 o'clock last 1 evening in a room in De la Cour's . buildings, in Gloucester etreet, occu- ' I pied by Mr Horanoe Thompson, indent ' agent. The fire had a fair hold -when ' tlve- brigade arrived, but was soon got " under control. The greatest damage I done -was to Mr Thompeotv's etock, ltis t ' office being completely gutted. The | ' building was insured! for £1000, but j the stock was uninsured.
