ANOTHER JAPANESE SUCCESS.
HEAVY RUSSIAN LOSSES. LONDON, August 3. Tha Japanese carried an entrenched position at Tomuchan, fifteen miles south-east of Haicheng, on Saturday and Sunday. The Russians left 1500 dead, and lost six guns, and retired to Haicheng. General Kuropatkin since reports having evacuated Haicheng. General Kuropatkin's army is retiring via Ans-hantian.
