The Medical Association Conference members* were driven into the country yvbtcrday afternoon. In the evening three p*pera were xvad, mostly technical. This morning a paper -was read on tlie "Collection, end storage of rain for 'household purjKW**s." The Health Officers' Coitfejsnce took place yesterday ■fternoon, and ountinuta to-day, tht-re being present—Drs. Mason (chief), *McGill (Auckland).Valentino and Gilru'-h (Wellington), Ftvngley (Nelson), Finch (Christchureh). Ogston (Dunt'din), Morris (Greymouth), and Anderson (Blenheim). The PrerKi was excluded. The questions dealt with concerned departmental matters chiefly.
