WEST EYRETON.
The West Eyretan Road Board meeting, held on Bth September, was attended by Messrs Hunter (chairman), Horrell, Smith, and Waiting. It was resolved to strongly Srotest against the South Waimakariri liver Board boundaries being extended! beyond the present limit. A long resolution, moved by Mr Horrell, was passed, authorising the Board to borrow from the Bank of New Zealand, as required, by way of overdraft; the sum of £350, or any sum not exceeding that amount, at current rates of interest. Notice was given to strike a general rate of _d in the £.
