' Despite questions asked in Parliament on the subject of the Weetralian loan, the scrip is quoted at about one-half per cent, disojpunt. The London County CounciFs issue, which was unexpected, greatly interfered with the colonial loan, the total subscription for which was about £375,000. NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL MORTGAGE AGiSNCY. (Received February 3rd, 12.11 a.m.) LONDON, February 1. The balance-sheet of the National Mortgage Agency Company of New Zealand shows a- profit of £23,512. A dividend; with a bonus, equal to seven and a. half per cent., waa declared, £7500 -was carried to the reserve fund, and £6348 was carried forward. LONDON, February 1. The leading trans-Atlantic lines have agreed upon a minimum in freight rates, representing an increase of 33£ per cent, on grain and 10 per cent, on provisions.
