Castlepoint—Wind, N.W., gale; bato., 29.78; therm., 54; fine; sea heavy Wellington—Wind, N.W., strong; baro., 29.92; therm., 58; overcast. Westport—Wind7S.W., breeze; baro., 30.03, therm., 60; cloudy; sea smooth. Kaikoura—Calm; baro., 29.83; therm., 72; fine; sea smooth. Bluff—Wind, W., strong: baro, 29.77; therm., 54; overcast. Captain Edwin telegraphed:—"Low pressure from wast ia approaching the meridian, and one from the same direction is dv. on the 24th."
