SYDNEY SHEEP SALES.
. SYDNEY, July 8. At the sheep sales 4098 were sold for £28,296, compared sheep sold for £37,668 last year, a fall of about 33 per j cent., though the quality was well mainj tamed. The decline was chiefly due. to-the inability of the pastoraiists in the droughtstricken districts of New South Wales to i come into the market. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London offio?, dated sth July: — ■; "Prices of leather and basils are un- ' changed." .
