The theatre night of the Stock Auctioneers' and Dealers' Sports Club will take place to-morrow night at the Opera House. In addition to items by fclie members of the Dix Gaiety Company, "there will be several by some of our beet known amateur vocalists and instirumentaliste. Altogether the programme is a very excellent, one, and no doubt there will be a large gathering on the occasion.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the St. Augustine Masonic Lodge, No. 4, will be held to-njghit in the hall, Manchester street. The annual Sam Weller "swarry" in connection with the Christehurch Working Men's Club will be Md on Wednesday evening in the recreation hall. More than ordinary interest attaches to th& gathering on this occasion, as it is the twenty-first anniversary of the Club. •With to-day's issue is given a supplement containing the particulars of the annuaE stock-taking sale o< the D.I.C Th» sat'.e commences to-day, and, as will be seen, substantial leductions halve been made in all. the numerous departments of the establishment. The plan of the reserved seats for the season of the Josephine Staunton Comic Opera Company, commencing at the Theatre Royal on Monday next, will open at Messrs Millner and Thompson's to-morrow. The initial production will be "Fra Diavolo."
