BRISBANE, July 8. The following elections were held to fill vacancies caused by elections to the Federal Parliament: —For tbe Bundaberg seat, Mr Barber (Labour) beat the Ministerialist candidate. For the Charters Towers seat, Mr Burrows (Labour) beat the Democratic candidate. The successful candidates both had good majorities.
