The Government guests at the various functions in connection with the Royal visit will shortly be receiving the cards issued by the Government as souvenirs of the various receptions. To-day I had an opportunity of seeing theee cards. There are no fewer than five of them, and they will form an interesting memento of the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York. The first card deals with the general receptions of their Royal Highnesses in, the different centres. Portraits of the Duke and Duchess appear at the top t>f the card, under an Imperial crown. Coloured drawings of Ruapehu, Egmont, Mt. Cook, aad "Mi*re Peak appear in the margins, and at the foot of the card thery will bs a picture of the city -w-here the reception was held. The New Zealand seal, in which is a representation of a missionary and a Maoxi «de by side and the Boyal coat u>l arms also £nd 9 a place in the design/which is by Mr W, H. Young, of Auckland.
