Larometer—Further rise everywhere; fulling after sixteen hours at places northward ot Thames and Raglan. Sea—Moderate on both coasts. Tides —Good on western coast of North Island, also east coast north of Auckland; moderate other places. SYNOPSIS OP THE PREVIOUS 48 HOBT.S. There was an increasing pressure generally until ebout midnight on Saturday; since then ii, has fallen at all places southward of Napier and New Plymouth; it has also risen a little in the south since about 8 p.m. yesterday. A low pressure from, the west passed eastward of the meridian of the South Cape late yesteiu:.y. There is a low- pressure in the Tasmim Sea about 36 south longitude 165 east, travelling to tho south-east, and un!es3 it decreases in energy at an uuueu:.l rate, it siiould arrive near Cape Farewell on tho lGth.
