MEETINGS, ENTERTAINMENTS, &c.
A new programme was submitted by Dixs Gaiety Company at the Opera House on Saturday evening to a crowded house. Little Eiiean Boyd made her last appearance, and received a perfect ovation at the conclusion of her song and dance, and had to respond to no less than four recalls. Air Connie Aloreni's triple bar act, the Win crate l sisters' trapeso performance, and A.iss Gertie Windate's thrilling slide from the buck of the building to the stage, were watched with breathless interest. Aliss Gladys Beuth also made her last appearance, 'ihe programme will be repeated to-night.
There was a large attendance at the Oddfellows' Hall on Saturday niaht when tlie Fuller Bijou Company gave their new programme. 'Die various members of the company introduced several new specialities which went excellently. Air Fred Bluett created great amusement in his turns, apd "The Baby Elephant" and Lp Ombre Pantomime were both received with considerable enthusiasm»by the audience. Tlie company will appear again to-night in the same bill."
