PRO-BOER JOURNALS IN TROUBLE.
BOERS AGGRESSIVE NEAR PRETORL.. A PLUCKY LITTLE TOWN. (Received January 12th, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 11. The circulation of the newspapers "Ons Land," and tbe "South African News," whioh are both aggressively pro-Boer, has been prohibited in the districts under martial law. Boers have raided cattle close to Pretoria. General Bruce Hamilton has re-provisioned Hoopstad (95 miles north of Bloemfontein) and BrJlfontein (157 miles W.S.W. of Kimber ley).
The latter place was surrounded for two months, and the townspeople repulsed several attacks.
