PRESIDENT'S CUP.
Sydenham met United, and the former scored 177 (Dewe 51, McMeekan 26, Jones 20, Kemp 12, Jacobs 10, Rankin 18 not out, and Hallcy 10), and United (batting five men short) made 44 (Harper 13, Middleton 13, Williams 10). Harper, for United, and Jones, for Sydenham, bowled best.
The Sydenham A and Albion teams began a match at Hagley Park, and when stumpa were drawn the scores were: —Sydenham 103 (McMeekan 33, Taylor 13, Patrick 32 not out, and Merriman 10); Albion 117 for eight wic-
kets (Jos. Weston 28, Ford 20, Treloar 12, Machin 12, G. Gray 12. and Patterson 21 not out). Ogier and Patterson bowled well for Albion, and McMeekan and Merriman truudled best for Sydenham.
High School met Lancaster Park. Scores: —High School 73 (Deacon 33 not out and Brook 21); Lancaster Park 121 (Bromley 31. Yenables 22, Kid.ey IS, and Lawrence 17 not out). Maude, Atkinson, and Bain bowled best for the School, and Bromley took seven wickets for 37 runs for the Park.
