JUBILEE EXHIBITION.
MEETING OP THE EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Exhibition was held on Wednesday night. Present—Messrs R. Allan (President), C. Louisson, W. Minsin, A. G. Howlard, W. T. Thomas, R. C. Bishop, W. W. Charters, W. Rollitt, R. H. Wood, and J. A. Frostick. An apology for albsence was read from Mr. B. P. Madid-ire. It was decided that on and after Friday, January 18th, to the end of the exliibition the charge for children's admission be 3d instead of 6d. The President reported the attendance of the public was still good and keeping up well. The hon. treat-iii... Mr. Charters", announced that so far the number who had passed through the turnstiles was over 100,000. The work of designing and producing the honorary certificate for exhibitors was referred to the Printing Committee. The free use of the hail was granted to the Mayor for January 29th for a public meeting" to discuss the question of harnessing the Wai-inuk-iriri. The date of closing the exhibition was fixed for January 31st. The meeting went into committee" on fto-incial matters and on resuming adjourned.
