(Received January 10th, 8.39 a.m.) LONDON, January 9. A hundred and fifty Boers have raided De Beers farm, near Kiinberley. The residents of the district are flocking into town. Advices from Capetown and an interview with Hagedoorn, the Beer officer at Marseilks, appearing in both the "Daily Mail" and the "Daily Express," concur in stating that the invaders have plenty of ammunition and arms, which were cunningly buried until the Boers \rere ready to use them. It is also stated that the invasion was carefully organised and long planned. {Received January 10th, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 9. fht hundred mounted men have been ed at Capetown in a few days. General "Brabant, the head of the Colonial Defence Corps, and other authorities are very active. (Received January 11th, 12.19 a.m.) LONDON, January 10. Twelve of the Imperial Lighfc Horse were kilted and 25 wounded—the majority severely—in Babington's fight at Naauwpoort. Eiglit men belonging to the Scots' Greys, Guards, and Hussars, were also wounded. The Boers' vanguard is twenty miles from Picquetberg. The invaders have been instructed to cut communications near the coast, so as to compel the British army to hurry southwards, and deal with the intruders, Botha, meanwhile, taking the offensive. (Received January 11th, 1.5 a.m.) _, LONDON, January 10. Kruger is convalescent. The latest report in regard to the attitude of the Cape Dutch is most reassuring. (.Received January lliii, 12.19 a.m.) LONDON, January 10. Lieutenant-Colonel Hennikersferce, including the Second Coldstreams, holds an extended line south of Sutherland. The invaders have moved westward from Fraserberg. A strong British column has garrisoned Carnarvon. Pour British columns are operating from Middleburg. Harses have been commandeered at Warrenton and Worcester, where the circulation of the newspaper "Ons Land" has been forbidden.
