AQUATICS.
The following crews have been drawn for the Union Rowing Club's Trial Fours, to be rowed on the Avon on January 26th, commencing at, 2.30: —First heat: F. Otley (stri B. A. Bern* (3), H. Sorensen 12), W. H. Gray (bow) * v R. Mansfield (str), T. Chamb_rs (3), W. Dartnc-11 (2), F. Finlavson (bow). Second heat: J. Sibbald (str). R. Ewing (3), J. R. Marriner (2). H. Mouat (bow) versus F. Newton (str), G. Ebert
The Committee of the Union Rowing Club met at the Boathouse on Wednesday. A circular was read from the New Zealand Rowing Association, calling a general meeting to consider the proposal of local government, and it w__s decided to support the idea. The Treasurer reported a niunb.i- of subscriptions outstanding. It ivm resolved to send a circular to all those member*, in arrears, informing them that any member not- paying by January 31st would be debarred from all privileges and dealt with by the Committee.
