Sea—Heavy along the western coast north of Cape and south of Cape Farewell, moderate e.sewhere. lives—Moderate ail along western coast, poor along east coast north of Napier, good from thence southward. BTKOPSIS OP THB PREVIOUS 24 HOUBS. Slowly increasing pressure everywhere, with moderate to strong N.W. to b.'W. winds, and generally fine but cold weather. Frost reported from Blenheim, Kekerangu and Christchurch. A low pressure from the west will pass eastward of the meridian of the South Cape on the 7th inst. R. k. EDWIN.
