In the first part Miss Rose Williams sang a serio-cunric, and also gave an item in tho second part. Miss Lulu Zesch and tHe Elmore Sisters a ballad ami a serio-comic item, both of which were greatly appreciated by the audience. •Mγ Ernest Femleigh, who Jias a pleasant tenor voice, sang "Blue Eyes," and Master Horace gave a ballad. The other items in the first part were contributed by Mr Jack Steele, Messrs Collins, Cowan, and Howjqrd. In the second part Mr Cowan scored a success with his war song. The Delavales gave a very clever exhibition of trick cycle riding, everything being done as deftly as though tho performers were on the stage instead of the giddy cycle. M?h? Beatrice Smith danced, excellently whilst skipping, and the marionettes were as amusing- aa ever. The Company appear ag&in to-inght. The Fuller Bijou Company kid a capital house last night at the Oddfellows' Hull, when aA\ the varkras items on the programme went excellently. Several new artists are annoumoed to appear on Saturday night, w hen a change of programme will be given. The Biograph concluded a most- successful season yesterday afternoon with a matinee, and the company left last niglit far the North. A number of new war films have just been received, and when the company again visit Christchurch, they will be able to give an entire cSange of pictures. The session of the Durham street Literary Society concluded on Monday evening with' a_ "social." Misses Curlett and Keareil gare pianoforte selections, and Misses Duncan and Year songs; Mrs Curlett and Messrs Lashlie and Morley gave recitations, and Mr Huuter played cm the autoharp.
