KELSO-M, October 2. The following apnoimnwnte in the new secular staff of the Stoke Industrial School navfe been made by lUa.n Mahunev, manager:—Master and matron, Mr and Mrs Fit*gerald, chief attendants at the Hokitika Asylum; assistant masters, W. L. Beech, of Ohtiriu, Wellington, and F. J. MulhJll, of Thames ; farm manager, D. Eight, manager'for Mr McMillan, South bridge; gardener. P. O'Brien, formerly of Charleston ; s cook and three general servant* have also been appointed. The positions of farm hands, tailor, and baker have been filled by ex-inmates. The new- staff takes up its duties on October 15th, when the Marist Brothers take their leave.
