LONDON, August 10. Wheat is firnij and quoted: 6d higher on the week, owing to heavy rains in England and on the Continent. The Victorian wheat (July-August shipment) is quoted at Sis 6d per quarter. Silver, 2s 4d. Tbfe Bradford wool market is dull. Common sixties, 20d; super, 21d. Freights of Fremantle are quoted, by sailer, as follows: —Naked weights, 22s 6d; rough measurement, 32s 6d; fine measurements, 355. By steamer —Naked weight, 37s 6d; rough measurement, 555. By mail steamer, 7s. Other freights are unchanged. (Received August 11th, 9.40 a.m.) At the kauri gum auctions 2479 cases were offered, aDd 500 sold. There is slow demand, and prices are unchanged.
