Monday. October 23. (Before H. W. Bishop, Esq., S.M.) Maintenance. — J. Davey applied for an order, and as his five sons agreed to contribute 2s 6d a week each, the matter was so arranged. Civil CASE.-'-Mrs lEttitSnt (Mr* Hannah) v. B. Lissaman (Mr Pappfill), claim £100 175.. This case involved acounts for loans and interest between the plaintiff and her husband, with the defendant to an extent of £286 8s 9d, of which the claim sued for was the balance. Evidence was heard a*, length between the parties only, and the questions of the Statute of Limitations, and bankruptcy of Lissaman. and Hood was argued by learned counsel. The magistrate said on the facts, the weight of documentary evidence was for the defendant, for whom he gave judgment with costs.
