Wind.—Moderate to strong westerly at all places northward of Napier and .New Plymouth; gale from between west and southwest ana south elsewhere. .bAJBOiiETEa.—Rise everywhere. Sea.—Heavy on all western coast, and on the east coast south of the Kast Cape. Tides.—.Moderate on the east coast northward of the isaet Cape, high everywhere else. SYNOPSIS or THE PREVIOUS 24 BOOBS. A slowly increasing pressure in all parts of the country. Strong westerly winds have bean prevalent, and B.W. gales have been reported from Tauranga and jSew Plymouth, between Cape Jigmont and Foxton; the weather has been showery on the west coast of both islands, and a heavy rainfall is reported from Cambridge, 'l'he low pressure from the west will pass to the eastward of the meridian of.the South Cape late on the 23rd instant, .
