A TIMELY JOKE.
A large affair, like a cage, intended no doubt for a butcher's shop, or meat-safe, was lying on the wharf at Wellington, alongside the troopship Waiwera, awaiting shipment (says the "New Zealand Times"), when some wag, with a lump of chalk, labelled the box, "Cage for Kruger," with laughterraising effect.
