MARKET REPORTS.

There were about 50 horses offered at Tattersall's on Saturday, nearlr all being light sorts. Medium draughts sold from £23 to £32 15s, and others £15 to £18, best harness horses £12 15s to £18, others £7 10s to £10, and hacks at the usual prices to £6, There were fair entries of pigs at the produce markets, and stores sold welL Baconers made 35s to 37s 6d, porkers 21s to 255, stores 17a 6d ta 21s, weaners 14e to 16s, and suckers lls 6d to 13* &L The supply of poultry was not equal to the demand, and good prices were again obtained. Hens made 3s 3d to 4s 9d, and special laying sorts to 7s 6d, roosters 4s to 5s od, ducks 4s 6d to 6s 6dj ducklings 5s 6d, geese 6s 6d to 7e 6d, turkey hene 8s 6d to 9s, and gobblers 15s to 17.s 6d, all at per pair. At the Kirwee saleyaxds, on Friday, between 3000 and 4000 sheep were yarded, cociskting of all classes. There, was a good attendance of both farmers and dealers, and bidding for all prime; freezers was good, but rather slack for half-finished sorts and stores. A good few entries of the latfcar description were passed at auction, some, however, being placed privately afterward. The following prices were obtained:—Best freezers, 18s Iα to 20s 9d ; others, 16s 4d to 17* 6d ; butchers' fat crossbred ewes, 12s 6d to 17e 3d ; merino wethens,lls 5d to 13s 9d ; crossbred hoggets, 12s 9d to 14s Id; forward crosebreds, !3e 3d to 16s Id; crossbred ewes and lambs, 8s lid to 9s 9d all counted; cattle, pigs, etc., sold at market rates.
