THE GENERAL ELECTION.
A meeting of Mr A. E. G. Rhodes's Linwood Committee was held last evening in tbe Linwood Hall, Mr J. R. Brunt presiding. It was reported that the electoral rolls would be available on Tuesday. Reports were given of work done, which was of a satisfactory nature, and a number of new names were added to the Committee. A full meeting of the Committee will be held next week. Mr John Barrett will address the electors of Selwyn at the Darfield Hall, to-morrow, at 8 p.m.
