SMARTLY RESCUED.

A SYDNEY LADY IN PERIL.

The following particulars, just to band, of a smart reacuo effected under difficulties, should be of interest to most people. Mrs David Bretnall, of 257 Goulburn street, Surrey Hills, was the lady rescued. Mrs Bretnall, who is the daughter ot Mr Paterson, a well-known etorekeepor of Gden Innee, N.S.W., received our representative most cordially, and willingly described the occurrence to him in the following terms:—"lt was at a picnic that I was suddenly attacked by the sharp shooting pains of neuralgia with co much violence that I suffered for months after. The pains in my face, head and back, too, became especially

(From a photo by Freeman.) violent in the evenings. My head, ached eternally. When, after the long weary, day had passed, it .was with the reverse of pleasure that I sought my couch. It meant a long, agonising, -eloepless night. Sometimes I could not help "moaning -the whole night long. I would arise in the morning feeling utterly worn out. My appetite completely left mc. I became very thin, and my face assumed a most melancholy aepout. When I looked at it in the glass I could scarcely believe it was mine, so haggard and drawn had it» become. I tried several so-called neuralgia cures, but they were utterly useless. Nothing appeared capable of lessening my suffering. At last my husband, reading of ■<& case of neuralgia cured by. Dr. 'Williams' pink pills, bought a-box-for mc, he himself had derived great benefit from using the pills. I have us«l only three boxes and they havo completely cured mc. All pains in face and back have left mc. Headaches have vanished, my appetite and full ability to eleep have returned as of yore. The colour has come back to my cheeks, and I feel well, strong and >happy. My husband can .substantiate all I have said, and ho will also be htfppy to add his testimony to mine re the curative powers of Dr. Williams' pink pills." Others who have suffered from rheumatism, neuralgia, paralysis, -lumbago, , diphtheria, pneumonia, fevers, bronchitis, , consumptiba, St. Vitus' dance, ..and diseases of tho blood and nerves, are likewise h&ppy to add.their testimony in favour of Dr., Williams' pink pills. They cure as in Mrs 'BretnaU'e-cas© when other medicinw have fa.U'fd. The genuine have the full. Williams , pink pills for pale people—printed in red ink on the white outside wrapper.
