THEATRE ROYAL.

Another krge audience witnessed the repetition of "La Poupee" by the Pollard Opera Company in the Theatre Royal last nigjht, and the principals had, on several occasions, to respond to recalls. The solo, "A Poor Little Dummy ami," by Miss May Beatty, in tihe last act, was encored no less than three times. This afternoon "La Poupee" will b& performed at a matinee, and this evening it will be finally staged. On Monday night the company will appear in the musical comedy "In Town"—an old favourite now of Christchurch audiences. Miss May Beatty will take the part of Kitty Hettherton, and Miss Wilmott Karkeek the part of Marie de Belville.
