The adjourned meeting of shareholders in the Agricultural and Industrial Hall Company will be held on Thursday, August 7th, at 3.30 p.m. A meeting of the Painters' Union will be held on Monday next, at 7.30 p.m.' ! A summoned meeting of the Loyal Addington Lodge, will'be held j on Monday next, at 7.30 p.m. ; A special musical festival will take plane in the Victoria street Salvation Army Barracks to-morrow, when Adjutant Duggan , will take charge, with Miss N. Gilbert as pianist. An election of a member of tie Pharmacy Board of New Zealand to fill an extraordinary -vacancy caused by' the resignation of Mr Frank Rensbaw, will take pace on August ?Bnd. Nominations will be received by the Registrar before 4 p.m. on August Bth. The annual meeting of the shareholders in tine Farmers* Co-operative Fire Insurance ! Company will ho held on Wednesday. 23rd August, si. 2 p.m., to receive the annual statement and report, elect directors, etc. A meeting of the friends and supporters of Messrs G. J: Smith and.T. E. j Taylor will be held in the Congregational schoolroom, Manchester street, this evening, at 7.30.
