, „ TO THE EDITOR OF THE .PRESS. ' - I - Sir*—As there is nearly a week :gone. and i nothing done with regard to finding work, I would tike to know what ia to nacouie bY us, as it is getting 7 a hart! matter to find a bit of tucker ior our wives and families. And not forgetting that tho election is. coming tfa, when members do not torge.t, to' look to the working roan for his vote^ promising him good things in the future.- VVnere are they now to help us iv our difficulties? It is also stated that, a chosen few are going away to Government works on the quiet. If that is so. there is some underhand, .work going on somewhere* Why should riot we all have the same chance ? Why not let the Bureau have a black board, and put all works going ou, and what men are required every day upon it ?—-Yours, &c, DISGUSTED.
