A STRANGER EXPELLED.
Shortly after the House resumed to-night Mr Crowther rose to & point of order, saying a man sitting behind him was making use of very vulgar "expressions, and he pointed to a person sitting in the place reserved for ; strangers on the floor of the House; The Chairman of Committees here sent for : the Sergeant-at-Arms, and instructed Colonel Fraser to caution the troublesome stranger. " Put him out," demanded several members, Mr Crowther explaining* to one of liis neighbours that the person referred requested him to go to another and warmer, place. Mr Taylor said, "The gentleman of whom Mr Crowther complains is evidently in a state of intoxication, and should bt removed from the House." After this statement the Chairman said to the Sergeant, " See * that the person is removed." Colonel Fraser approached the man with all dignity, but it was not necessary to remove him, as the stranger .was coaxed away by someone else.
