CURE ROWING OLUB.. '/ -.; The twentieth annual meeting was held on. evening, at the Mandeville Hotel, Kaiapoi, Mr W. E. Parnham presiding. . *Efae, balance-sheet showed a credit balance of ; £1018s 9d. The balance of assets over liabilities was £21518s 9d. It was decided to open the* season on Saturday, October. Bth, with a procession of boats,, and aquatic sports on the river. , Four new members were - elected, and , Meeerß. Alfred Winterbourn and John Higgjn* were elected honorary;life members., . Tfce officers. elected were i— JR. Moore, M.H.R.; vice-presidents, Mr D. M. Marshall, E. E. Papprill, W. E.. Parnham, J. H. Keetley and Drs. Murray and Par* sons; Captain, Mr W. Howie; vice do, Mr W. K. Tomlinson ; secretary, Mr H. Parnham; treasurer, Mr D. J. Donald; corn* mittee, Messrs H. Driscoll and J. Johnston,, with' the officers ex officio; racing committee, the captain, Messrs Hume, Revell and Winterbourn ; auditors, Messrs P. Lynskey and A. E. Coe ; custodian, Mr H. Driscoll. It was decided that the regular place of meeting for the club should bo the volunteer orderly room. At a committee meeting of the Avon Rowing Club, Mesera F. Fuller, 0. Allard and J. McDonald were eleoted delegates to represent the clab at a couference to consider the question of improving the river Avon. suffered" for fourteen years. I have been afflicted with rheumatism for fourteen years, and nothing seemed to give any relief. I was able to be around all the time, but constantly suffering. I had tried everything I could hear of, and at last wae told to try Chamberlain's Pain Bahn, which II did, and was immediately relieved, ana in a short time cured.
